Rachel Davies-Colley
Now technically Rach is not one of the 15... Because she gave up her spot for some other lucky bugger. But she is camp mum, and so she gets a blurb tooÉNot your average law student, Rachel is best describe by the laws about which she learns - Sustained Loss of Traction, Counterfeiting public seals (no matter how many times we tell her to leave the poor seals alone) and Brothel Keeping. Rachel is also your club president, she looks stunning in a onesie and no one pulls off thermals quite like our Rach. If Rachel sounds like your cup of tea email us at iwanttotapthat@ishouldbesolucky.com . I should warn you, she's kinda picky...

Michael Thorpe
In Far West T-Bar born and raised on the slopes is where Thorpy spent most of his days. Throw in some casual (after race) racing, a few fancy mountains, and you have Mr Michael Thorpe Ð Single, unfortunately not, but you are sure to make a new friend out of this one.

Joseph Simpson
Joseph, or Jo-dizzle as he likes to be called, has been skiing since he was a very small whipper snapper. When Joe isn't skiing he likes to spend time at the beach with his wind surfer and his pink kayak. Representing us in Big Air, Skier Cross and Giant Slalom keep an eye out for him in an Accident and Emergency room near you.

Tyler Dann
Being the only rider in the team with previous sponsorship, Tyler looks set to kick some ass on the Slope Style and Boarder X courses. Tyler is single and lists his favourite activities on Facebook as Snowboarding, Skateboarding, Wakeboarding, Banter, Beer and Banter, Pooing, Etc, Wizard sticks and Binge drinking. Enough said...

Georgia Coyte
Its not very often you find someone skilful in the art of Cross Country skiing as well as ski and boarder cross. Throw in some Giant Slalom and you have the wonderful Georgia Coyte. This child of the 80's has seen some serious snow action in Canadia (thatÕs the correct spelling) as well as New Zealand. Watch out all you Leo's, sheÕs an Aries...

Jason Dick
Whoever said law students are soulless monsters was probably right, however when it comes to the snow this man has more soul than a Alabama gospel choir. Returning to winter games for his forth time, Jason is a dedicated competitor as well as a former committee member. Jason likes long walks on the beach and is a Scorpio, so all you Libras watch out.

Olivia Shearman
With over 17 years of skiing under her belt both nationally and internationally, Olivia is set to stun (sheÕs a pretty good skier too). Having spent times with Whakapapa Race Development squad, Olivia is going to melt the snow on the Slalom and Giant Slalom courses. You will need to be on you best game with this one boys...

Stefan Coulder
Stefan is the clubs own international man of mystery. A quick Google would have you believe this man is a skiing god, this man will be tearing it up on the slopes and in the town. Ladies, I would get in quickÉ

Alex Liew
Alex is UASC's answer to Bruce Lee, he will be spinning, flipping, sliding and grinding his way to victory in slope style, half pipe as well as boarder cross. Having spent our summer in a Canadian Snowboarding camp Alex is set to kill it both on the slopes and off. You should buy him a beer.

Hamish MacMillan
Having been a member of Ruapehu Ski Club since the age of 10 as well as both US and Canada experience under his belt, Hamish is set to bring it home for UASC. He will be racing his twin planks in Slalom, Giant Slalom and Skier X. Hamish is an all round nice guy and has told us he will buy the whole team beers if he doesn't win in at least one of his events (no pressure).

Joe Brenan
Joe is one of our least experienced competitors, first picking up a snowboard only 5 years ago. Some serious snow time on Mt Ruapehu as well as some freestyle training means Joe has the skills to pay the bill (well thatÕs the plan at least). Sorry ladies, Facebook says Joe is married and if its Facebook official, well...

Nicole Paterson
Set to rock the slopes with more speed than Lindsay Lohan could fit on a toilet seat, Nicole is ready to race Giant Slalom and Slalom. She will be the first on the slopes and the last out of the bar. With 456 friends on Facebook this girl is conveniently popular (or rent a crowd is doing good business), don't mess with her though, she can totally kick your ass!

Anthony Geck
Mine is a dark story, of an innocent weekend family-trip skier turned troublesome twin-tip try-hard. The infamous debauched and crooked walls of the UASC ski lodge have served well as my mountain abode for the last 5 years. You can find me surreptitiously teaching kids incorrectly so they won't all be better than me (the little rats) at Snowplanet while I 'work' on my masters of Architecture. My philosophy on ski gear is anything expensive is a waste of beer money and ends up getting smashed, so I'll be representing in my gaudy multi-coloured salvation army ski jacket and matching paraphernalia while cheering heartily for and embarrassing everyone else from Auck uni. One other thing to remember, never put ski gloves in the dryer. (Sorry Tom.)

Nick Etherton
Skiing is one of the few things I crave. I've been doing it since I was four and still love hitting the slopes every year. I just spent a winter in Canada which showed me a whole other side to skiing - actual powder! Crazy stuff. Give me a bluebird or two and winter will be worthwhile. This man is a fast talking smoother operator with a great taste in shirts (stalk him on Facebook, I dare you). He will be racing down the cross and if your lucky you will see him 'Bring Back the Biff' on the Skier X course. He is another 'poor' student who spends his summers overseas shredding foreign pow. He's a catch girls...

Nick Francis
Don't let his ginger hair fool you, Nick is snowaholic. At the height of his addiction he spent 2 years as your club captain representing to club gallantly both on the slopes and at the bar. Nick will be competing in Giant Slalom, Slalom and Cross Country. If you can't keep up with him on the slopes then you will do little better keeping up with him in the bar.

Robert Norrie
Robert is never one to boast but since your asking he has skied all of New Zealand, Japan, Canada, USA and France. With all this international experience Robert is set to take out some serious trophy-age (cause if he doesn't, well, lets just say I hope he doesn't value the use of his knees too much...). Robbie Norrie is an all around G.C.
