UASC CLUB CHAMPS ARE BACK!

Due to the terrible weather at our Club Champs weekend, a lot of snow fell and a lot of beer was drunk but no racing actually took place....

So as a result we are going to run them again, on the 2^nd & 3^rd of October, and we just so happened to already have a beginners bus trip planned for that weekend! So now we are going to combine the two events into one.

And if you hadn’t noticed, over a metre of snow has just fallen on Ruapehu!

The Plan

We'll be meeting up at 4:00pm at Uni or 4.30 at Greenlane Mcdonalds on Friday 1 October and piling into an 18 seater bus! This is provided by Bodhi from skibumbus.com and has a cranking soundsystem and flatscreen tv’s for ski movies on the way down. And so begins the road trip!  Make sure you bring along a few beers for the trip!!  We'll stop along the way down for you to grab a bite to eat then ONWARD to the mountain.
The Club Champs is open to skiers and boarders and will run on Saturday morning, we will also include a couple of more alcohol themed races in the afternoon so even if you are not up to the big races you will still have a shot at glory! There are prizes for category winners as well as a $30 SNOWCENTRE VOUCHER FOR BEST COSTUME on the slopes on Saturday!

For those beginners out there, we will not be able to provide instruction on Saturday morning due to the races, but we will make sure you know where you are going and help out where we can, and once racing is done we can give you some pointers on the slopes as well.

Members $130
Non-Members $160 (includes discount membership rate)

What is included

Accomodation for two nights, Bustrip there and back, Prizes and Alcohol for the shotski. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, Dinner on Saturday & a rocking good time!

What's NOT included

Dinner on Friday or Sunday, lunches, ski passes, gear hire

If you need ski passes or to hire gear, let us know.  If enough people are interested we can get group rates from Mt Ruapehu to save you all a bit of money!

You will not be confirmed on this trip until you have signed up and your payment has been received by us.  Bank transfers from any bank other than National Bank, and credit card payments can take two or three days to clear.
Signups will close when the trip is full OR on Wednesday 29 September at 5pm due to transport booking requirements.
