The UASC Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday 20 October 2010 at Osborne Street bar in Newmarket (on Osborne St funnily enough).

At the AGM we elect the new Committee for the next year. Also, the 2010 committee will report to the club on what they've done this year and often will have one or two recommendations that they want the club to vote on for the 2011 season. For example this is where membership and bookings rates are set for the year.

The club will provide pizza/bar snacks of some description and Osborne Street have sorted some good drinks specials for you guys, cos meetings are thirsty work!

As mentioned earlier, this is when we elect our committee for the coming year. Our committee works hard to keep the club and the lodge running for you, and always needs new enthusiastic people to keep us moving forwards. So if you might be at all interested, get in touch and/or nominate yourself!

Guidelines On Nomination

• YES! You can nominate yourself.
• Only current club members are eligible for nomination. If you are nominated by someone else, your nomination will not be confirmed until you notify the club Secretary that you accept your nomination
• Nominations must be received no later than 6pm MONDAY 18 OCTOBER
• Please see the UASC Constitution for more details on who is eligible to run for Committee

Special Requests:

If you have the following skills, we would especially like you to consider joining our committee:

Treasurer: accounting students especially, or those with accounts experience would be very useful for our committee, skills in balancing books, auditing accounts, following up on receipts, payments, bills etc.
WEBSITE: Someone with solid PHP knowledge, and either a knowledge of cakePHP or a willingness to learn.
