Work Party December Cancelled

We work hard to bring you guys the cheapest on mountain accommodation, within stumbling distance of the bottom chair, and we rely on you guys to help us keep it that way.  While most ski clubs with lodges on the mountain require you to attend at least one work party each year to even become a member of the club, being a club run by students for students, we know how busy everyone is and don't have this rule.  However, there's still the same amount of work to be done as at these other clubs and we need your help.

After exams (4-6 December) we will be running a work party down at the lodge.  The work to do will include some sanding, painting, cleaning and other miscellaneous jobs, as well as collecting rubbish from around the lodge.  And don't worry if that sounds like hard work, it's not all work and no play, we always have a good time too (it's called a work PARTY for a reason).

So if you can use a hammer or paint brush, know what to do with sandpaper or a drill or are just willing to give us a hand and play with some power tools......  Also if you have a ladder, cordless drill or access to anything else you think we might need please email our maintenance officer James - maintenance@uasc.co.nz
